Job Title: Senior Revenues Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Revenues Officer to join our team in Leicestershire.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Council Tax (CT) and Business Rates (NDR) billing, revenue collection, and debt recovery processes. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate records of all Council Tax and Business Rates accounts
* Process and collect revenue from various sources, including online payments and direct debits
* Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints related to billing and payment
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of revenue services
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in revenue management
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management or a related field
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Salary and Benefits:
