A great opportunity to work with an established and growing care company providing residential live-in support for children and teenagers with challenging behaviour. Their staff are always on hand to provide emotional support as well as help teach and develop the children for the future.
They are recruiting for a Children's Home Senior Residential Support Worker. You will be:
1. Based in a children's residential home in Prescot
2. Working 2 full days and nights and then having 4 days and nights off
3. Working with younger children
4. Supporting the child with making breakfast, helping them get dressed and to school, doing the laundry, picking them up from school, cooking dinner, and getting them bathed and to bed
5. Ensuring they are supported emotionally and aiding their learning and development to provide a stable and loving environment
Benefits and salary of a Children's Home Senior Support Worker:
1. £14.95 if you have your Level 3, £14.30 if you don't have it but would like to pursue it
2. £60 per sleep-in
3. 224 hours holiday per year - you get an extra 2 days after 2 years
4. Bank holidays paid at x1.5
5. Private health care
6. A great support network with further training and development
7. Claim petrol back for 40p per mile
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements to be a Senior Support Worker:
1. Living in or around the Prescot area
2. You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally your own vehicle, but there is a house car you will have access to
3. NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce is beneficial, but candidates working towards their Level 3 qualification will be considered
4. Experience working with children who have challenging behaviour is ideal
5. Experience as a nursery nurse would be advantageous
