Job description
KS3/4 Geography Specialist
St Helens
Easter until July 2024
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Geography teacher to teach in a ‘good’ secondary school and sixth form in St Helens from Easter 2024 until the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for teaching Geography, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for day to day, short term or long term supply booking.
The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school also provides CPD throughout the year and you will be expected to attend meetings, inset days to support the school as well as follow the school values.
Behaviour on the whole is positive and any isolated issues are dealt with by a positive, pro-active “on call” team with a wealth of experience in pastoral matters.
The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
