Architectural Technician
Sittingbourne | From £30,000 DOE | Career Progression | Flexible Working | Creative Projects
Are you an Architectural Technician looking for the next step in your career? Do you want to be part of a company that's growing and offers a genuine progression route to senior level?
This is your chance to join an established and ambitious architectural practice based in Sittingbourne. With plans to grow in size, this company offers a dynamic, supportive environment where your input is valued and your growth is encouraged.
Whether you are MCIAT qualified or have solid experience within a similar technical role, if you're committed, eager to learn, and technically strong-this could be the perfect fit. The company is also happy to support and contribute financially toward your professional qualifications.
What you'll be doing:
1. Working across 2-3 projects at a time, spanning sectors such as healthcare, construction, and education-no two days are the same!
2. Managing your own workload and prioritising effectively.
3. Leading client meetings, answering job-related queries, and providing technical expertise.
4. Creating and overseeing high-quality technical drawings using CAD and Revit.
5. Coordinating with civil engineers and contributing to the full project lifecycle.
6. Representing the business externally in a confident, professional manner.
7. Supporting and eventually taking ownership of project management tasks.
What we're looking for:
1. Ideally MCIAT qualified (or working toward it), but relevant experience will be considered.
2. Strong working knowledge of CAD and Revit.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
4. Great communication skills and client-facing confidence.
5. A problem-solver with an eye for technical detail.
6. Ambition to grow into a leadership role.
What's in it for you:
1. 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
2. Free on-site parking.
3. Flexible working hours and cloud-based systems.
4. Support towards professional qualifications.
5. Fun and engaging team events (Crystal Maze, team lunches, etc.).
6. Career progression and professional development.
7. A welcoming, social, and supportive team environment.
