Insurance Administrator
Salary – £24,500 - £30,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location – Doncaster, DN4 5NU
As an Insurance Administrator at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in supporting our insurance department through effective claims administration and clear communication with internal teams, insurance companies, and solicitors. You’ll ensure accurate record-keeping and process insurance-related queries in a timely and efficient manner.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Providing administrative support for claims, recoveries, payments, and Bordereaux requests
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of claim files and internal claims systems
- Handling and attaching email workflows and scanned posts to the correct records
- Liaising with sites, insurers, brokers, and finance teams
- Supporting the update of the insurance page on Environet
- Managing communications and documentation for liability, property, and motor claims
- Ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and data entry for all claims handled
- Supporting ad hoc insurance administrative tasks as required
What are we looking for?
- Previous administration experience, ideally within an insurance environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A calm, structured, and organised approach, with excellent time management
- Adaptability and flexibility in a busy work environment
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- The ability to manage confidential information and work independently
