Health & Safety Manager - Brighton
Salary Up to £65,000 + Travel Included
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join a growing construction business delivering a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects across the South East. Working on projects from £100k to £20m, this role will be key in driving health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple sites.
The Role
This position will suit a proactive Health & Safety professional with a strong background in construction safety management, looking to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures.
2. Deliver training sessions and promote a strong safety culture.
3. Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions.
5. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
6. Provide guidance and support to project teams.
What You'll Need:
1. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation in construction.
2. Experience in site safety management & compliance.
3. Ability to conduct risk assessments & accident investigations.
4. Excellent communication & leadership skills.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
