We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role and are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and 'can-do' Senior Care Responder. We are expanding throughout Bath and West Wiltshire area and looking for the right person with excellent people skills to help drive our highly regarded care business forward.
Job Description
The role offers the chance to be part of a strong supportive, friendly team providing the very best companionship, home help and personal care services for our clients who wish to remain happily, safely, and independently in their own homes. All our client visits are at least an hour, often more, and our Care Professionals are matched and provide continuity to help develop meaningful and trusting relationships.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Support with carrying out Quality Assurance reviews.
2. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
3. Assist with covering visits where required with onboarding of new clients.
4. Support Care Professionals with clients in any Moving and Handling and extra support required.
5. Delivering PPE, Birthday cards and gifts to Care Professionals and clients in the community.
6. Supporting Care Professionals in any emergency situation with their client.
7. Support with any office admin required.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
1. Experience of working in the care sector - ideally 1 year minimum
2. Good organisational skills
3. Knowledgeable of the local area
4. Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to-do list
5. Detail-oriented and conscientious
6. Trustworthy and reliable
7. Self-motivated
8. Articulate and a good communicator
9. Good with English (verbally and written)
10. Able to work in a team
11. A car driver
Additional Information
This is a 30-hour contract position predominantly working in the community from our office based in Corsham, Wiltshire. The hours will be a set pattern over a 2 week period with a mix of 8.15 till 14.15 shifts or 14.30 till 20.30. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references.
