About the role:
Due to the exciting development of an expanding team and working more collaboratively with our social work colleagues we have a number of Supporting Family Key Worker posts available. This will increase the amount of families to whom we can offer support. These are available for both temporary and permanent contracts, as full time (37 hours) posts and part time (18 hours 30 minutes). One permanent and one Temporary post will be based with children’s social care and four permanent post and one temporary post will be based within the Family Hubs.

It’s an interesting time to join our service as we further develop our locality early help and prevention work alongside adult’s services, and are involved with the new Greater Manchester Early Help Community of Practice, where we have recently been involved in the development of the GM Early Help Principles ensuring a consistent approach that is- Timely; Holistic; Relational; Asset based; Empowering, Local & Sustained.
About You:
We are looking for passionate and committed people, with relevant experience, to join us and contribute to the family centred, highly professional service, we deliver. The role includes training, and opportunity to deliver, evidenced based interventions on a one to one basis in family homes, and in facilitation of groups within a quality assurance framework. You would be line managed by either a Children and Family Manager or Practice Manager and work closely with other Supporting Families Key Workers, Early Years Workers and receptionists. Central to this role, you will build strong relationships to offer integrated support to families, within our multi-agency partnership.
