Working for an established and progressive organisation who provide support to people who may have mental health, drug & alcohol issues and within various settings including residential, supported accommodation and crisis services.
We're seeking a skilled Waking Night Recovery worker to work on a part time basis covering nights within the service.
The role:
To work within a 6 bedded supported living service in Penrith for adults who may present with mental health issues including schizophrenia, personality disorder, mental health disorders.
Work on a rolling rota basis covering 22.5 hours per week (phone number removed)am including occasional weekends.
Duties will include building checks, writing case notes, dealing with any situations where needed with residents and actioning any medication requirements.
Cleaning duties where required and working on a lone basis.
Dealing with any other duties that will support the service and adhering to all policies and procedures.The ideal candidate:
You will ideally have some experience of working within a similar setting and have knowledge of supporting adults with mental health issues.
You will be a good team player and be flexible to work on a rolling rota, with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
You will have knowledge of delivering medication where needed and have excellent IT skills.
