Director of Services Procurement
The Role:
To lead the strategic development and operational delivery of Impellam's growing services procurement offering across UK and EMEA. Working closely with Impellam's UK and EMEA leadership team, the successful candidate will grow and develop customer facing services procurement teams to deliver a marketing leading solution.
In this role, you will also lead our Services Procurement supplier engagement strategy, fostering collaboration to ensure Impellam achieves the best quality, value and ESG outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Management: Lead the strategic outsourcing of services to individuals or organisations for specific purposes, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Service Provider Management: Oversee the procurement of statement of works, including consulting services and specialty services such as IT, marketing agencies, accounts payable, law firms, and facilities management.
Contract Management: Manage service providers through MSAs and SOWs, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements and timelines.
Cost Management: Capture cost savings through supplier and contract negotiations, competitive bidding, process efficiencies, and greater budgetary controls.
Quality Assurance: Enhance the quality of services by tracking supplier performance, optimising the RFP process, and conducting detailed spend analysis.
Workload Management: Improve workload management by freeing up time for procurement to become more strategic to the business.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, mitigate security risks, and manage worker misclassification to avoid monetary penalties.
Best Practices Implementation: Implement industry best practices collected from managing other clients' services procurement spend, ensuring the most effective purchasing processes.
About you:
Proven experience of growing, developing and inspiring high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across the organisation, suppliers and end customers.
A strong track record of building and maintaining influential relationships with EMEA and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
Experience of driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes and implementing new solutions to offer enhanced efficiencies, transparency and value for money.
Ability to direct multiple procurement projects and services across various business lines.
Confident understanding of procurement legislation and procurement related agreements (e.g. Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements).
Knowledge of compliance and risk management related to service procurement.
Sound experience of interpreting buying data and market trends to offer internal and external market analysis and identify new opportunities.
