About the Role
Working in a Borough with diverse planning challenges, Maidstone values its heritage and countryside. We seek a Planner with enforcement experience to impact positively. Responsibilities include appraising enforcement complaints, assessing breaches against policies, drafting enforcement notices, processing planning applications, advising Planning Committee members, and presenting cases in court and appeals. The role involves development management and enforcement, with training provided. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible hybrid working, and an opportunity for internal secondment.

About You
Ideally, you hold a degree in Town and Country Planning, eligible for RTPI membership, with knowledge of planning legislation and enforcement experience. Excellent customer service skills, clear spoken English, and a full UK driving license are essential.
