Role description: As a Project Planner you will be an integral part of the programme delivery team responsible for the effective implementation of project controls across a Major Energy Project or portfolio of projects. As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you'll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. Role accountabilities: Developing baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards. You will be expected to manage and report on critical path analysis and assess and report and subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager. You will utilise your expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team to deliver accurate cost forecasts for the client. You can also expect to assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports. Alongside working on live contracts you will also be working on projects during the pre-contract phase to provide an expert assessment of contactors tender programmes Qualifications & Experience: Experience utilising Primavera P6 planning software. Schedule planning, forecasting and reporting. Construction background. Extensive NEC 3 / 4 contract experience Ideally you will have experience working within the Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector however individuals with experience working on public sector projects within a regulated environment (i.e. water, rail, aviation, nuclear etc.) are encouraged to apply Working as part of an integrated delivery team.
