What the Job Involves The Principal Lift Engineer ensures that all lifts in Islington's housing are adequately maintained via a cyclical capital works program. This includes replacing outdated equipment, developing clear communication with stakeholders, and supporting policies and strategies. You'll lead capital improvement projects, supervise a team including a Lift Inspector, and handle budgetary responsibilities. Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards and drive the operational efficiency of the engineering department.
