We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Town Planner to join an expanding Planning team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex projects in renewable energy, urban development, infrastructure, and waste management. You will play a key role in providing strategic planning advice, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and overseeing the delivery of high-profile projects.
Requirements:
* Degree and/or Master's in Town Planning.
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in town planning, with a deep understanding of planning and environmental legislation.
* Corporate/Chartered membership of IPI or RTPI.
* Proven experience in preparing and submitting planning applications, feasibility studies, masterplans, and planning strategies.
* Experience working with both private and public sector clients.
* Hands-on experience in delivering environmental projects.
* Experience in overseeing and managing multidisciplinary projects.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Candidates must be authorised to work in Ireland with no need for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit planning applications, draft reports, feasibility studies, and masterplans for a diverse range of projects.
* Provide strategic planning advice and lead projects through consenting processes and planning strategies.
* Collaborate with a range of client bodies and ensure successful project delivery.
* Play an active role in the delivery of environmental projects, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
* Oversee and project manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive environmental reports, including EIARs.
