About the Role: As a Play Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality play experiences for children aged 0 to 12 and their families. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive and grow, all while upholding and working within our Christian ethos. Key Responsibilities: Develop meaningful relationships with children and their families, designing play experiences tailored to their unique needs and stages of development. Facilitate engaging and stimulating play sessions that effectively use our resources and environments. Collaborate with the Senior Play Practitioner to ensure robust planning, monitoring, and evaluation systems are in place. Deliver accessible play sessions across various community settings. Contribute to reflective evaluations and document observations to support the developmental journey of each child. Demonstrate and uphold Christian values in daily interactions, fostering a supportive and caring environment.What We’re Looking For: A relevant qualification (HNC/SVQ 3 in Childcare/Play) or a willingness to work towards achieving this. Experience in a play or early years setting, with a proven track record of planning and delivering activities for children. The ability to build trusting relationships, complemented by a playful and engaging approach. A solid understanding of child development and attachment principles.
