We are looking for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead and oversee a vital service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Location: Bangor, Northern Ireland Salary: Starting from £39,513 per annum (subject to review) Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 4:30pm) Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Friday 21st February 2025 at 10am About the Service Our Residential and Respite Service provides 24-hour care for adults with learning disabilities, with or without physical disabilities. The service includes: Permanent Residential Care - Supporting residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Respite Services - Offering temporary stay beds for individuals and families, with scheduled respite in partnership with health and social care providers. Day Services - Providing adults with learning disabilities opportunities for skill development, independence, and community integration. Your Role as Registered Manager As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of care, and leading a dedicated staff team. You will be registered with the Regulation & Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) and ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include: Providing strong leadership and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and person-centred culture. Ensuring compliance with RQIA Residential Care Agencies Regulations (NI) 2011 and Department of Health Minimum Standards. Overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff. Managing budgets, resources, and service contracts effectively. Promoting safeguarding, risk management, and continuous service improvements. Engaging with residents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery. Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Knowledge and experience in budget and resource management.
