Overview The Legal and Governance department are seeking to appoint to the permanent position of Manager for the Democratic, Electoral and Registration Services. This role requires an individual with the ability to lead, direct and develop these teams, whilst also contributing to the senior management team for the Legal & Governance department of Harrow Council. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in undertaking the future of these services and to make a difference in the local authority. About you You will be required to uphold and demonstrate the values and standards of the Legal & Governance Services Department, and ensure the effective delivery of all local and national elections in accordance with the law and best practice. You will need to build effective working relationships with all areas within the remit and with elected members, chief officers, client departments and other professional colleagues. If you have the ability and experience to front and manage these various teams of staff in accordance with the highest professional standards, and to optimise their contribution to the success of these areas as well as researching and seeking solutions to identified problems, we want to hear from you.
