Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our team at Minehead Medical Practice. In February 2024, OneMedical Group took over Minehead Medical Centre. We are working closely with the team and local stakeholders to improve and develop the service. It's an exciting time to join us, as the service continues its transformational journey. Main duties of the job With extensive experience of working within a primary care setting, the post holder will provide expert support to our GP practices, as well as high quality patient care consultations. The Pharmacist will efficiently work as an expert advisor for medicines, repeat prescriptions, medicines optimisation and pharmaceutical care aspects of the multidisciplinary team workload. The patient list size is 12,300 with a slightly higher number of aging population when compared to the rest of Somerset.In recent years, Minehead Medical Centre has undergone refurbishment works to provide additional clinical rooms on the ground floor.Minehead is a coastal town in Somerset, lying on the south bank of the Bristol Channel and within easy reach of Bristol, Taunton, and Yeovil.
