Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury’s city centre, offering easy access to all.
Our expert team are able to deliver established outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, addictions and eating disorders. We provide high quality support to adults, adolescents, children & couples, offering practical, effective therapeutic services to all of our service users.
We are currently seeking an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist on a self-employed basis to support our outpatient service at Priory Canterbury.
Our focus currently is to expand our Psychiatry platform to offer more outpatient psychiatric assessments on request and to meet current demand.
The position will offer an ability to work within a blended approach of face to face and remote appointments.
The applicant will be required to register with various private medical insurance companies for the benefit of our privately insured and corporate clients as well as offering self-funding appointments.
Our Consultant Psychiatrists have the full support of our accredited therapists who offer a range of therapeutic modalities to include CBT, Integrative, Psychotherapy, EMDR, CAMHS and other more complexed modalities. This is a great opportunity to work within the private sector for further opportunity and growth, or to expand on your current role.
Full training will be provided to meet the requirements of the Priory Group processes and systems.
