Responsibilities for this role include: Recruiting and managing staff. Overseeing payroll. Ensuring compliance with HR legislation. Health and Safety, risk assessments and compliance with mandatory training. Providing leadership and support to approximately 12 directly employed members of staff and several ancillary staff and workers linked with the surgery. Ensuring a cohesive, stable and well-motivated workforce. Overseeing all staff to ensure that they have an appropriate level of training to enable them to carry out their individual roles and responsibilities effectively. External working: As Part of the five practice Hatter Health PCN, much of our work and our staffing and direction is integrated with that of our primary care network and you will be very involved with this team. You will be the primary point of contact for NHS England, ICB, community services, CQC, suppliers and other external stakeholders. Maximising income and ensuring cost efficiencies for the practice Strategic development and financial planning of the practice: ensuring opportunities for the development of the practice are maximised. Ensuring Care Quality Commission compliance. Overseeing day to day compliance with GDPR. Managing contracts for services Ensuring the practice is compliant with health and safety/fire regulations. Coordinating the reviewing and updating of all practice policies and procedures. Leading change and continuous improvement initiatives; coordinating all projects within the practice. Supporting the team to reach QOF targets. Ensuring the practice maintains compliance with its NHS contractual obligations. The management of the premises, including health and safety aspects such as risk assessments and mandatory training. Managing the practice IT system.
