Accountant About the Job As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing for month-end and payroll cut-off deadlines while ensuring accuracy across financial processes. Calculate customer rebate schemes and ensure timely rebate payments. Perform daily analysis and invoice billing errors. Review and load monthly targets into AIO. Liaise with various departments to communicate targets, commission achievements, and resolve queries. Oversee the Varicent commission calculation and reporting portal, ensuring commission accuracy. Assess commission adjustment requests for accuracy before presenting them to the review panel. Produce timely commission reporting and analysis for monthly/quarterly payments. Maintain customer rebate Access queries and issue regular reporting on month-to-date costs. Ensure billing errors are reviewed daily, approved, and invoiced promptly. Review monthly target allocations to ensure fairness and accuracy. In order to set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience Accounting experience, preferably within a finance, sales, or commercial environment. Ability to interpret and work with large sets of financial data. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and correct errors efficiently. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, particularly during month-end processes. An understanding of commission structures and sales performance metrics would be beneficial. Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential if strong experience is demonstrated.
