We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sensory Support Assistant for our daughter. As she is home-schooled, we require someone who can engage in her educational activities, help her progress towards her targets, and develop a relationship with her.
The role involves supporting our daughter in her sensory play, music, and water activities, as well as assisting with her daily routines. We are looking for someone with experience in SEN, PMLD, and special needs care.
The successful candidate will join a supportive team consisting of an SEN teacher, an experienced TA, and a physiotherapist. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12 and flexible working hours. A DBS check will be required, and we can provide support with the application process. Training will be provided in moving & handling, epilepsy, and other relevant areas.
