We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Production Technician on behalf of a global market leader in combustion management systems.
Established over 50 years, they are the largest distributor in Europe for Ray Burners. They offer installation, service and maintenance services to a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, educational, and leisure.
As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and manufacturing multiple electronic parts efficiently and effectively on time and according to the requirements, quality standards, and customer needs in a world-class environment.
This is a permanent position, based in Biggin Hill, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary is paying 25k - 28k per annum. Responsibilities
1. To deliver and manufacture excellent quality parts on time, according to the required standard and specifications.
2. To follow the production output plan in a world-class and controlled manufacturing environment.
3. Understand all work instructions, company rules and procedures, timekeeping rules, and company quality standards.
4. Understand and execute output requirements as per schedule.
5. Maintain manufacturing equipment that you are responsible for.
6. Ensure that output targets and quality standard requirements are met.
7. Highlight any issues regarding process, equipment, and quality. Use problem-solving tools to resolve quality problems. NCP procedure must be followed.
8. Report and escalate problems and findings to the Production Supervisor.
9. Keep good records, and ensure that all manufacturing documents, reports, checklists, works orders, and other records are completed accurately and correctly on time.
10. Ensure good housekeeping and that 5S is performed in the work area. Ensure workplaces are neat and tidy, and all items are stored correctly and that the standard is followed.
11. Ensure good timekeeping.
12. Follow the company H&S requirements, wear personal protective equipment issued to you, and ensure that it is maintained.
