Salary: £30,000 - £35,180 FTE, subject to experience Reporting To: Head of School IN SHORT We have an exciting opportunity for an Adult Skills Lecturer to join our School of Adult & Community English & Maths. We are seeking individuals to teach one or more of the following subjects: English Maths Digital Skills Adult Learning at MK College was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in 2024. Our Adult courses are part-time and are offered in the evenings as well as daytimes. Levels range from the unaccredited, and from Enry Level to GCSE. Adult learners are aged from 19 years. There is no upper age limit. The successful candidate will have the ability and passion to inspire diverse groups of adults to achieve their full potential. They will understand the unique challenges that adults can face when learning, while maintaining standards and employing effective strategies to support them to achieve. They will monitor progress and support learners studying in a range of delivery modes. Candidates should have relevant professional qualifications in the subjects they will teach, and experience of teaching. They will demonstrate the ability to motivate students using varied teaching and learning strategies, with an emphasis on student progression and differentiation. The successful candidate will be organised, flexible and enthusiastic. They will start ready and confident to design and deliver course content.
