Our client is an integrated marketing agency, and are looking for a new Digital Marketing Specialist due to continued growth and client wins. This role will join their lovely Digital Marketing Team to work on a portfolio of high-profile accounts with a focus on the automotive industry. They are a carbon neutral business with a defined path to net zero so work with brands focused on sustainability and ecological integrity. To ensure they hire a really standout Digital Marketing Specialist, the role can be remote, but needs to be commutable to Ashford, Kent or no more than 2 hours away for occasional meetings.
The role
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will report into the Head of Digital Marketing and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of client activity in 3 key areas:
1. Paid media (Display, Paid Search, Paid Social) set up and management of paid search and paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will be writing creative briefs for banner/asset design and overseeing keyword gap/competitor analysis and A/B testing landing pages.
2. Search engine optimisation (SEO), overseeing interpretation of technical website audits, optimisation of existing client web pages, keyword gap/competitor analysis using tools such SEM Rush, development of client content marketing plans, writing keyword targeted content briefs and management of link acquisition via a third party agency.
3. Email marketing/automation, writing creative briefs for email template design, testing the performance of new email templates using Email On Acid and set up and management of ad-hoc and automated email marketing campaigns via in-house email marketing platform.
In addition to setting up and running campaigns you will also need to report how they are performing. The Digital Marketing Specialist will need to have experience using data visualisation tools such as Google Looker Studio as well as presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Passion for digital is essential!
About you
To be considered for the role of Digital Marketing Specialist, you will need:
1. a minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience
2. demonstrable practical experience in at least two of the three core disciplines of paid media management, SEO, and email marketing
3. a deep understanding of the technical hurdles that must be overcome to successfully launch and manage any performance-based digital marketing campaign
4. an analytical and creative mindset focused on growth
5. excellent problem-solving and communication skills
6. a commercial mindset, where you nail every detail that matters for clients
7. well-developed time management skills
On the job training will be provided; however, you will be expected to make an impact and work independently. This role does not manage any direct reports, but as the team grows they may be added.
