Tasks
* System Design: Design and develop mechanical components and systems, enhancing the functionality and efficiency of Barocal's innovative cooling solutions.
* Experimental Setup: Contribute to the execution of experimental rigs to rigorously test new heat transfer and hydraulic designs.
* CAD Drawing: Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings, ensuring precision in design and adherence to industry standards.
* Manufacturing Engineering: Drive projects that enhance product functionality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
* Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure specifications are met and projects stay on track.
* Project Management: Contribute to the overall development of our product and support with project management tasks.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related discipline. A PhD in a related field is a plus.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in an R&D environment, preferably within the HVAC, automotive or space sector.
* Practical Skills: Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and experimental design ideally in the context of novel climate technologies.
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with experimental setups, test rigs, and instrumentation.
* Strong analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* Expertise in CAD and manufacturing/materials processing is desirable.
* Experience in either HVAC or hydraulic systems is a plus.
* Knowledge in industrial control systems is a plus.
