Hays Technology in Leeds are currently recruiting an Application Support Analyst to join a local organisation on a temporary basis for an initial 12-month period.
Application Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support for software applications used by the business, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and escalating complex issues to the development team.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions to the business. Track incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.
* Work closely with internal teams such as IT, developers, and end-users to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of applications.
* Assist in testing application updates, patches, and new releases, ensuring minimal disruption during deployment.
* Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to improve reliability and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in application support, IT helpdesk, or a related role.
* Experience with SAP
* Experience with SQL
* The ability to independently learn and understand the applications to be supported.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve technical problems effectively.
