Cyber Business Change Analyst Utilities Predominantly remote: 1-2 days per month in Warwick 6 months £500 - £550 per day In short: Our business is separating from a large utilities giant and we're seeking 2 Business Change Analysts (not Change Managers) to assure a number of IT and OT projects in a cyber environment. Essential: Business Change Analysis experience in a complex, fast-paced and challenging environment. You'll need to be comfortable having challenging conversations when revisiting impact analysis where necessary. Nice-to-have: Utilities / Energy experience; gas, electricity, water, nuclear, oil, Operational Sites, Operational Technology (OT). In full: The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst will lead the change initiative of projects within the OT cyber programme to ensure that the benefits and risk mitigation objectives of the project are achievable. The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst ensures that business stakeholders clearly understand the project, programme and related Security vision and objectives and manages the business operations journey from awareness through to reinforcement of the change. The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst will identify capability and resource (time, resource, cost and equipment) risks and issues that could prevent a successful handover and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, the Head of Cyber Resilience, Programme Managers and Sponsors to mitigate and resolve them. The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst ensures that the changes are successfully integrated into business operations and benefits realised. The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst will enable the Security Business Change Manager to understand the latest transition position for each project through measurable KPIs. The Security Business Change and Transition Analyst will support the wider Security Culture and Awareness team to embed the business Security culture by highlighting issues with stakeholder understanding or identifying opportunities for engagement campaigns or enterprise-wide training. Key accountabilities: Manage an appropriate business change and transition framework and change products to deliver the best change experience for the business stakeholders impacted. Assess projects for their change impact on people, organisation technology and information to ensure that the project include all the necessary activities within its project and resource plans. Support the development of stakeholder registers, communication and engagement plans, training needs analysis and delivery plans. Collaborate with the projects and programme managers to manage the business stakeholders, communicating and engaging with them to ensure that the project, programme and Security vision is understood. Support the projects to optimise the timings of project deliverables into business operations and prepare the affected business areas for transition to new ways of working. Identify, assess and manage the risks and issues that may prevent a successful transition and work collaboratively with the various stakeholders to develop effective mitigation plans to resolve them. Assess business change and transition maturity at each programme stage gate or more frequently (as agreed) to identify issues early and increase delivery confidence. Determine and agree the appropriate post-implementation support structure between the project and business operations depending on the project characteristics. Assess and assure the business readiness of each project through the associated programme governance including assessment that the services required to support the enduring change are in place (depending on the service model needed). Monitor and measure the delivered benefits and work with stakeholders after project delivery to reinforce the change and support the resolution of any issues with the project team. Ensure that transition success can be measured through the relevant business KPI and KRI governance and monitoring of the CAF position. Complete lessons learned at regular intervals and continuously improve the business change and transition processes and frameworks. Provide effective feedback to stakeholders. Maintain programme documentation as required to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements, in particular the NIS Regulations and CAF framework. Knowledge and experience required: Strong experience in business change management, transition and business analysis. A working knowledge of ProSci ADKAR would be advantageous. Has proven analysis, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills. A good track record of delivering complex projects - a familiarity of an engineering operational landscape would be advantageous. Understands relevant policies, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of the project's environment as well as its politics and culture. A good knowledge of Cyber Security, the Business, Operations, Engineering and IT project drivers.
