Our client is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working.
ROLE
Ensuring that the monthly and annual financial reporting of the business is undertaken within strict reporting deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assistance with monthly and year end reporting.
Balance sheet analysis (Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations to be reviewed).
Assisting with the preparation of the Group Annual Budget, along with the subsequent quarterly reforecasts.
Assistance with Financial analytics and review.
Assisting with any queries regarding quarterly VAT returns.
Preparation of Monthly Operational Reporting packs/KPI reporting.
Assisting with the data collection and auditor queries as part of the annual audit.
Influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders to enable them to make informed financial decisions.
Sales/cash forecasting/cashflow preparation for review.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and developing relationships with key operational stakeholders across business units to provide key financial support to operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
Newly Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (ICAS/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent), Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field or Qualified by Experience in a similar role.
