Newcastle, one of several offices across the UK, has experienced impressive growth and continues to expand, with the addition of a permanent Structural Technician playing a key role in this ongoing success.
The ideal candidate will be a Structural Technician with a minimum of three years' experience, having worked on a diverse range of projects, including both new builds and conservation-focused work. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous, though training can be provided for any skill gaps.
The current team comprises a Senior Associate, Deputy Structural Engineer, structural engineers, a Senior Technician, a Trainee Technician, and a Deputy Civil Engineer, ensuring ample support for anyone joining the team.
Key Responsibilities of the Structural Technician:
Assist the BIM Manager in developing and implementing protocols.
Mentor junior team members as appropriate.
Produce technical drawings for various structural projects.
Current projects in the office include a combination of museum refurbishments, residential developments, and railway conservation projects.
