£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide maternity cover for a Year 5 class
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to support student development
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 5
* Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics
* Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred)
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (preferred)
The role involves working in a primary school setting, following school hours and term dates. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
