We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager to directly manage all the maintenance aspects across the organisation. To ensure that all buildings and their services meet the needs of those that work in them. The Role: Responsible for the delivery of the maintenance targets and objectives. Implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (P.P.M.) for all on site plant and equipment. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of buildings and infrastructure. Responsible for overseeing contracts and providers for site security, parking, cleaning, catering and so on. Manage existing service contracts ensuring quick response to any break downs. Identify and commission contractors, monitor and manage performance and build cooperative working relationships. Financial control of budget areas. Manage, control and report on an assigned budget to ensure that financial targets are met. To coordinate response to call out issues (night or day). Work with others to develop energy reduction initiatives and reduce costs. Support of company management systems including, Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety. Ensure the completion of all statutory inspection and maintenance activities and appropriate record retention. Facilitating relevant training needs for maintenance staff. Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post. The Requirements: Qualifications or Relevant experience in Facilities Previous relevant experience of managing facilities. Experience managing a facilities team Experience of computerised maintenance management systems and operating, Permit-to-work systems Relevant systems experience steam, compressed air, electrical / mechanical. Experience of working to ISO management systems Experience controlling sub-contractors Working knowledge of statutory regulations i.e. PSSR, LOLER.
