Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated EMDR trained Psychotherapist or Counselling Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing therapeutic support to different people including adults, children, couples, families, and groups. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop and facilitate tailored integrative treatment plans.
Responsibilities
* To communicate in a professional and sensitive manner clinical and non-clinical advice and information
* Attend clinical supervision in line with our service Supervision policy, and attend scheduled line management one to one meetings
* Provide ad hoc clinical assessments including risk review and recommendations for further treatment. Where necessary seek clinical consultation and review of more complex cases.
* Maintain appropriate electronic and written records including session notes, records of attendance and contact with other relevant parties.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain professional accreditations and memberships.
* Participate in service development and delivery of policies, practices and initiatives
* Agree to a minimum of 5 clients per week
* Take part in Team meeting and group supervision when they take place
* Lead workshops and group work
Requirements:
For this role you must:
* Be a fully qualified Psychotherapist or Counselling Psychologist
* Be trained in EMDR or be working towards this
* Hold a Psychological therapy accreditation with either HCPC or BACP
* Have experience working with a wide range of clinical issues within young people and adults
* Hold professional indemnity insurance.
* Have updated PVG membership.
* Possess at least 3 years of experience in client work in your profession.
Desireable:
* Experience working with or knowledge of how to work with neurodivergent individuals
* Experience with family, couples and group work

Pay: £50.00-£80.00 per hour
