Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Residential Support Worker to join a team supporting adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and physical disabilities in a residential care setting. This role involves providing personalized care, promoting independence, and supporting the well-being and development of adults in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist residents with daily living tasks, personal care, and household activities.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and independence.
• Support residents in accessing community activities and engaging in hobbies.
• Maintain accurate records and report on residents’ progress and well-being.
Requirements
• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of care plans and a commitment to delivering person-centred support.
• A manual UK driving license and access to a vehicle is an advantage.
