Job Description:
Nomios' mission is to build a ‘secure and connected’ future. Organisations across Europe depend on us to help secure and connect their digital infrastructures.
In support of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Solutions Consultant to partner with our sales team and work with market-leading security and networking technologies and services. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, using your industry and vendor knowledge to provide best-practice advice and solutions that help our customers connect and secure their digital assets.
Your role as Solutions Consultant
No two days will be the same, but the types of activities the Solutions Consultant will be involved in include:
1. Own and deliver the technical strategy for our largest and most strategic customers
2. Deliver impactful technical presentations to customers on relevant technologies and solutions
3. Be involved in Proof of Concepts and technical evaluations
4. Provide technical responses to customer RF(X) and tender submissions
5. Own and maintain the Bill of Materials for sales quotes
6. Stay at the forefront of technology innovations to keep our customers ahead of the curve
7. Contribute to videos, blogs, and articles to share knowledge and insights
We hire result-orientated, smart, and high-energy individuals who bring a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile and deliver exceptional outcomes. We value attitude and approach over specific vendor experience, but ideal candidates will have demonstrable skills in solutioning for one or more of the following vendors: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Netskope, Zscaler, CrowdStrike. We would also love to receive applications from people with skills solutioning SIEM, SOAR, or Managed Security Services (experience in DDoS, WAF, IDAM, EDR, MDM or Vulnerability Management is a plus).
We are also interested to hear from candidates with operational expertise in these areas, who are looking to take their first step into technical pre-sales.
We are committed to providing ongoing training to help you stay up to date with industry developments.
Job Specifics
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our Manchester office and requiring occasional attendance at our HQ in Basingstoke.
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with occasional evening or weekend work if required.
Travel: The role includes travel within the UK, with some overnight stays, and occasional international trips if required.
Requirements: You will be required to attend customer sites across the UK and must therefore have a full UK driving licence.
Why would you choose to come and work with us?
We invest in our people. You will get to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you are free to use your initiative in support of our strategic objectives. You will work alongside high calibre sales, technical, and operational experts as part of a supportive, tight-knit team, within which every individual has an important part to play and makes a real difference. Nomios offers a highly competitive salary and commission scheme along with industry-leading benefits.
