About the Role:
This position involves working closely with a child on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The role is part-time and term-time only, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while making a meaningful impact in a child’s life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individualized support to a student, adapting strategies to their unique learning needs
* Assist the child with their learning and development in the classroom and during activities
* Encourage independence and engagement, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the child’s progress and wellbeing
* Record and track progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working one-to-one with children, ideally within a school setting
* A patient, compassionate approach and the ability to engage effectively with young learners
* Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
* Relevant qualifications or training in child development or support work are desirable
