Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Reception Supervisor to join the Primary Care Service Care Navigation Team. We are seeking someone who can promote a positive image of where you work, who is able to work in a trauma informed way to be flexible and adaptable. The post holder will need to have excellent communication and customer care skills and will be responsible for ensuring that service users/patients are in the right place at the right time signposting and re-directing if appropriate following care pathways.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to provide a high-quality and responsive customer care service to all patients and visitors and will be based within GP Practices.
As the service operates 08:00-20:00, 365 days a year (inclusive of bank holidays), there is an expectation that you will support the delivery of the service, by changing bases/hours to cover annual leave and/or sickness, which can sometimes be at short notice.

1. Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
2. Word processing to RSA 2 standard of European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or able to demonstrate appropriate level of skill

4. A detailed understanding of General Practice office environment
5. Knowledge of a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
