AV Support Technician Role

Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate AV equipment for lectures, events, and studio recordings, ensuring seamless media production and delivery.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems, working within agreed timelines using IT Service Management tools.
* Maintain and service AV and IT equipment across the campus, ensuring all teaching spaces are fully functional.
* Assist in editing and processing audio-visual content, including archiving media using digital tools.
* Support project delivery, contributing to system designs, costing, deployment, and testing of AV and IT installations.
* Collaborate effectively with academic staff, students, and internal teams, providing professional support and guidance.
* Ensure compliance with data protection laws and university policies.
Requirements
* Educated to A-level or equivalent, or have relevant experience in IT or AV support.
* Proficiency in AV hardware/software and experience with operating systems like Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both hardware and software environments.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent organizational and communication skills.
