An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our fast paced and busy Waiting List Booking Team based at Solihull Hospital. The Waiting List Support post is permanent, Full time Monday - Friday 37.5 hours, 08:00 - 16:00 with 30 minutes for lunch.
Main duties of the job
As part of a large team of Waiting List Coordinators, the post holder will be the main administrative support by adding referrals to waiting lists and booking pre op appointments with patients. You will work closely with the Team Leader and independently booking in accordance with policy and protocol guidelines. The post holder will also be co-ordinating email traffic and telephone queries from patients and stakeholders.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
Experience
* Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
* Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Experience of using IT systems
* Experience of working in a busy environment
* Experience of working in Healthcare
Additional Criteria
* Work effectively and flexibly as part of a team to meet the needs of the services
* Confident in dealing with people at all levels
* Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity
* The post holder will have the ability to pay attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations
