Great opportunity for a Production Technician to join a forward thinking manufacturing organisation in the area.
The role is presented initially on a temporary basis for 6 months, but with a view to developing into a permanent position thereafter!
The Position:
The role includes carefully cleaning and handling production line equipment, including wet parts and other machinery parts to company standards and is an essential element of our clients day to day production process, ensuring daily and weekly cleaning regimes are completed and procedures adhered to.
You would be required to keep to 5s standards in the production area, as directed by the Shift Manager, undergo training, follow instructions and work to standard operating procedures.
You will need to demonstrate the operation of a safe operating environment, including chemical usage required in cleaning and preparing for micro testing.
Ensure the safe keeping and storage of any change parts in the unit.
Participate in continuous improvement.
Report any malfunctioning equipment to your Shift Manager
Update the system/stores to confirm materials are in stock and ready for use
The Ideal Person:
Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for an individual who has worked in a similar capacity before including washing down of parts.
Alternatively, someone with Production/FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) experience would be equally suitable.
