This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school in Crosby, Liverpool, as an SEN Teaching Assistant. You will use your understanding of psychology to support and nurture students with diverse learning needs, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs. Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans. Support students social, emotional, and behavioural development through structured interventions. Use your psychology knowledge to help students develop coping strategies and improve self-regulation. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Requirements: We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who: Holds a degree in psychology or a related field. Has a passion for working with children with SEN and supporting their development. Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is proactive, empathetic, and adaptable to meet the needs of students. Has previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential). Eligibility: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service (or willingness to apply for one). Two professional references covering at least the last two years.
