We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial FP&A team. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Partnering, this role is pivotal in driving Ideagen’s commercial strategy. You will be responsible for tracking performance metrics, analysing data, and building financial models to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost efficiency. Your insights will be crucial for stakeholder decision-making, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-based strategies.
Hybrid Working model: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY in our Ruddington office
Responsibilities
-Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage detailed budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and analysing trends to provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
-Performance Reporting:Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly regional performance reports accurately and within set deadlines, addressing any queries efficiently.
- Risk Management:Identify and analyse business risks, offering strategies for mitigation and corrective action.
-Relationships Develop strong relationships across finance and regional teams, earning the trust and confidence of a diverse group of stakeholders.
-Process Improvement:Enhance FP&A processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of outputs, instilling confidence in stakeholders.
-Projects: Conduct ad hoc analysis to support interpretation and decision-making, contributing to various projects as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified accountant with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience in a finance role within an FP&A environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for streamlining complex challenges.
- Ability to distil key issues from large volumes of data with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive and organised, with the flexibility to meet deadlines and a strong drive to achieve results.
