Job Role: Residential Surveyor
Location: Bristol/Bath
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum plus car allowance *depending on experience – Plus a generous commission structure
Hours: Monday to Friday

Due to continued business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join our innovative firm of Chartered Surveyors. Main Responsibilities
1. The role will involve carrying out residential secured lending valuations, homebuyer reports, and building surveys, servicing our largest and longest standing clients which include some of the world’s most established banks and building societies.
2. Survey and value a wide spectrum of residential properties throughout London and the South East.
3. Utilize iPad technology to enhance efficiency in surveying tasks.
4. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with lenders and deliver a best-in-class service.
5. Encourage innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency.
Experience
Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience and experience of carrying out Level 1, 2, and 3 residential surveys for private clients and/or lending institutions. Familiarity with tablet technology for site note-taking and experience with Quest software, GoReport, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool, and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation is essential.
Qualifications and Skills
AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified applicants with experience in residential valuations are preferred. Candidates with MBEng, MCIAT, MCIOB, or MICWI qualifications may qualify for our AssocRICS qualification route. Experience in mortgage valuations, homebuyer reports, and building surveys is preferable. Excellent presentation and communication skills, IT literacy, and the ability to manage varying workloads to tight deadlines are essential.
