Job Title: Deputy Manager

Salary: £50,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a beautiful nursing home for the elderly in Broadstairs. As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the home, delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home
Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
Monitor and maintain high standards of care and service delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
Oversee the implementation of care plans and review them regularly
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Manage budgets and resources effectively
Handle any complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Promote a positive and inclusive working environment for staff and residents alikeRequirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within a care home setting
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of CQC regulations and requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions
Passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in IT and administrative tasks
