An opportunity has arisen for both an Operations Administrator and Operations Coordinator to support a busy operations team, based in Chandlers Ford.
Key Skills Required for This Role
Project/Contracts support experience would be ideal.
Important
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Our client specializes in delivering underwater engineering solutions to the maritime industry, with a primary focus on supporting the MOD. Both roles will provide essential support to a small, but busy operations team.
Your background in administration and/or project coordination will determine what role you are most suited to.
Day to Day Duties May Include, But Not Limited To:
1. Raising invoices and PO's
2. Managing timesheets
3. Preparing job files
4. Liaising with employee & subcontracted divers
5. Booking and planning hotels/flights
6. Keeping job file records up to date
7. Completing reports
8. Attending operations meetings
Key Requirements:
1. Strong administrative and/or coordination skills with experience in similar roles/industries.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial but not essential.
3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
4. Hours: Standard hours are 9:00 - 5:30 (though can be flexible).
5. Work Environment: Initially 100% office-based for training, moving to working from home one day a week after the training period (subject to agreement with the manager).
Hourly Rate: £14-£15/h plus holiday pay which can be accrued or advanced.
Both roles are initially temporary but with a view to going permanent, project dependent.
