ABOUT THE ROLE
I am 25-year-old male who has a diagnosis of complex epilepsy. I am looking for a caring individual to join our support team to work with myself to live my life to the full. I am looking for someone to support me to live as independent as possible, encouraging me to access the community as well as supporting me within my home, which I share with my family.
My Personal Assistant would be fully trained to assist me with my urgent care needs and respond effectively to my epilepsy, recognizing my seizures and administering my rescue medication following my protocols. Throughout my day I require support to complete my day-to-day tasks as independently as I can, knowing that my Personal Assistant is on hand should I need assistance with my personal care, meal preparation, accessing the community, attending the gym, medication administration or any other activities which could arise.

You will be required to get to know myself through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke training programme. You will receive all mandatory training and specialised training annually.
