Hours Per Week: 12 hours each Sunday, plus respite hours of up to 4 weeks per year of 24-hour care (168 hours x 4). Additional hours could be discussed with the successful candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a 25-year-old male who has a diagnosis of complex epilepsy. I am looking for a caring individual to join my support team to assist me in living my life to the fullest. The Personal Assistant will support me in achieving independence, encouraging community access, and assisting me within my home, which I share with my family.
The Personal Assistant will be trained to assist with my urgent care needs, respond effectively to my epilepsy, recognize my seizures, and administer rescue medication following protocols. Throughout the day, I require support to complete daily tasks as independently as possible, knowing that my Personal Assistant is available for assistance with personal care, meal preparation, community access, attending the gym, medication administration, or any other activities that may arise.
ABOUT YOU
I am looking for an individual who is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring, with a good sense of humor to encourage me to live my best life. The candidate must use initiative and respond to urgent situations efficiently.
Car drivers with a full, clean driving license are essential, and candidates must meet motor insurance requirements. You will be required to get to know me through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke training program. All mandatory and specialized training will be provided annually.
