This is an exciting 8-month fixed term opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join the Central Logistics Unit. A successful candidate would be part of a five-person team in charge of implementing the newly acquired Asset Management System, which aims to install a digital solution to better manage the Trust's Clinical Assests.
Main duties of the job
* Complete work packages as directed by the AMS Project Implementation Coordinator.
* This role is a critical enabler to the successful delivery of the SCAS AMS Project, which is introducing a new asset management system for SCAS’s clinical assets.

About Us
South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of emergency, urgent care and non-emergency healthcare services, along with commercial logistics services.
The Trust delivers most of these services to the populations of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire as well as non-emergency patient transport services in Surrey and Sussex.
We serve a population of over 7 million and answer over 500,000 urgent calls a year. We employ 4,551 staff who, together with over 1,100 volunteers, enable us to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Support the Implementation Coordinator to:
Establish and embed new processes for managing clinical assets. Establish and embed new policies for managing clinical assets
* Support auditing of clinical asset holdings by locating clinical assets, recording relevant details.
* Support OSS staff establish and embed new processes for the storage of clinical assets.
* Printing RFID tags.
* Labelling of clinical assets using RFID tags.
* Checking clinical assets are allocated a unique RFID and have been correctly tagged.
* Train and support staff to use and maintain asset management hardware.
* Train and support staff to use and maintain asset management software.
* Conduct system and process testing.
* Support user acceptance tests.
* Collect feedback from stakeholders, report to Implementation Coordinator.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Evidence of a broad experience working in a warehouse environment.
* Category B driving licence.
Desirable criteria
* Pallet truck training

* Experience recording data accurately and appropriately
* Experience using Microsoft Office professionally. To include as minimum Excel and Word.
