Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
1. Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
2. Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
3. Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
4. Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships
5. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

7. Promote and maintain good and effective communication with patients, relatives, and visitors.
8. Persuade patients and families to co-operate with treatment for their well-being, effectively deal with anxious relatives.
9. Ensure parents/carers and the child (when appropriate), can agree and/or negotiate care.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need:
10. A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years
11. Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
12. A Paediatric Nursing Degree
