The Role:
As a Legal Cashier, you will be an integral part of our finance team, handling key responsibilities to ensure smooth operations in our legal accounts. Your role will involve:
* Managing client accounts and ensuring compliance with SRA rules.
* Monitoring and processing daily client funds, including CHAPS, BACs, and FPS electronic payments.
* Processing payments, receipts, transfers, manual cheques, and/or cash banking.
* Posting expenses (fees, travel, etc.) and managing 'Infotrack' and Land Registry invoices.
* Handling filing and other daily administrative duties.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in legal accounts is essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a self-motivated, organised approach.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
* Experience with 'Indigo' is preferred but not essential.
* Availability to start as soon as possible and ideally based within easy reach of our Brighton office.
