Virtual Account Executive is a sales professional focused on acquiring and developing business within assigned territories and verticals, while looking for new logo prospects and developing existing accounts. Candidates will effectively be spending 70% of their time on active selling and 30% on supporting tasks such as network quotes, agreeing conditions with partners, and other tasks related to sales.
Virtual Sales Tasks
1. Acquire new logo business, build a strong pipeline.
2. Actively seek out and develop new customers and opportunities.
3. Proactively contact existing clients to maximize business potential – active upsell/cross-sell.
4. Engage with new leads provided by the Operations Team, maximizing MQL conversion into real opportunities.
5. Generate new sales leads and opportunities.
6. Acquire and develop own customer portfolio – direct touch with end users is a requirement.
7. Provide consistent interaction with existing customers – upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
8. Ensure that information about new products, services, and operational changes are communicated to customers on a timely basis.
9. Maintain and build account relationships.
10. Represent the Company at industry trade shows and conferences – travel requirements are a must.
Other tasks
1. Manage day-to-day client meetings.
2. Maintain all information about customers, including all contact information and call reports, accurately and timely in CRM (Salesforce).
3. Manage jobs from quotation stage to booking in line with client expectations and communicate effectively any service issues.
4. Manage and follow up on quotes.
5. Internal liaison with the operations team assisting with quotations and service information.
6. Report activities to the country manager.
